Calls
Calls (Beta) lets you call someone through the Whisperr server only, and have a bidirectional, translated conversation with anyone you share the link with — no Zoom, Teams, or Meet required.
Beta feature
Calls is in Beta. Features, limits, and pricing may change.
How It Works
- Start a call and pick the language you speak from the Whisperr Web App sidebar — you get a link right away
- Share the link — anyone who opens it joins straight in their browser, no app or account needed, and picks their own language
- Everyone hears and reads the conversation translated, live, each in the language they chose

What Makes Calls Different
- Guests need nothing — no Whisperr account, no app install. Opening the link in a browser is enough
- Every participant has their own language — a host speaking English and a guest speaking Japanese each read (and can hear) the other translated into their own language
- The link is stable — the same link works every time the host starts the call again, so you can reuse it for a recurring catch-up
- Audio is never saved. The transcript is only saved to the host's account if they turn on Save this call — otherwise it isn't stored anywhere retrievable afterward
- Free calls are capped at 2 minutes unless the host has an active Whisperr plan
