How to Capture Microphone Audio in the Web App
- Go to app.whisperr.co
- Select your source and target languages
- Click the recording button and select Microphone Audio

Your browser will ask for microphone permission — click Allow

Start speaking, or point your mic toward the speaker — live transcription appears on screen, with translation into your target language
The Web App works best in Chrome and Edge. Safari may have limited microphone support depending on your macOS version.
Common Issues (Web App)
Microphone permission is disabled
The browser controls microphone access. If no transcription appears, allow the microphone in your browser settings:
- Click the lock icon in your browser's address bar and set Microphone to Allow, or
- Go to Chrome Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Microphone and allow

Wrong input device
Confirm the right microphone is selected in your operating system's sound settings.
Unsupported browser
Use Chrome or Edge for the most reliable microphone capture.
