Installation
Whisperr is available on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Web, and as a Chrome Extension. Choose your platform below to get started.
iOS
Download from the App Store — works on iPhone and iPad.
After installing, open the app, grant microphone permission, and you're ready to go. See Microphone Audio Capture to learn how to start your first transcription.
Mac
Download the Mac app directly (Apple Silicon).
Open the downloaded .dmg, drag Whisperr into Applications, then launch it and grant microphone permission. See Microphone Audio Capture on Mac to get started.
Android
Download from Google Play. Live transcription, translation, and floating subtitles all work on Android.
After installing, open the app, grant microphone permission, and you're ready to go. See Microphone Audio Capture and Floating Subtitles to get started.
Web App
No installation needed — open Whisperr directly in your browser.
Works best in Chrome and Edge. Supports microphone audio capture and screen capture (browser tab audio).
Chrome Extension
Install the Whisperr extension to capture audio from any Chrome browser tab.
