Which languages can Whisperr speak out loud?

Speech Mode speaks 48 of Whisperr's 56 translation languages, including Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, French, German, Portuguese and Russian. The full list is on this page. Languages without a voice still translate — you read the translation on screen instead of hearing it.

Can I choose a specific voice?

Not yet. Whisperr picks a voice automatically for the language you are translating into, so Speech Mode works the moment you turn it on with nothing to configure. 33 languages have more than one voice available.

Is Speech Mode included in the free tier?

Yes. Speech Mode is part of live translation rather than a separate add-on, and paid plans are flat-fee with unlimited usage — no per-minute or per-word metering, so speaking translations aloud never adds a surprise cost.

Which devices support Speech Mode?

iPhone and iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, and the web app. Speech Mode is not yet available in the Chrome extension.

What happens in a language with no voice?

Translation still works exactly as normal — live transcription and on-screen translated text are unaffected. Only the spoken-audio layer is unavailable, so you read the translation instead of hearing it.

Do the voices sound natural?

Whisperr uses neutral, clearly-articulated voices chosen for intelligibility in real-time conversation rather than for performance or character work. The goal is that the other person understands you immediately, not that the audio sounds like a voice actor.
