Built for events

Get the most out of any event

Live captions for every attendee, however large the room and however many languages it speaks.

Personal headphones, speakers, or just read

Every attendee follows the session their own way: translated audio in their own headphones, out loud through a speaker, or live captions read on their own screen.

Scales to tens of thousands of viewers

One broadcast reaches an audience of tens of thousands, so the size of the room never limits who can follow along.

Real-time

Captions and replies in about 0.2 seconds keep up with live talks.

Scale to as many languages as you need

Add a language without adding an interpreter. Each attendee picks their own from 100+, so one session runs in as many languages as your audience speaks.

In person or hybrid

Microphone capture on the floor, or tab capture for streamed sessions.

No interpreter booth

No special equipment, headsets, or hired interpreters required.

Never miss a session — or a connection

Conference translation FAQ

How do I provide live translation at a conference?+
Run Whisperr on a laptop that receives the room audio, either a line out from the sound desk or a microphone placed near the speaker, then turn on Broadcast Mode and share the room link with attendees. Each attendee opens the link in a browser and picks their language, so one setup covers every language in the room.
Can Whisperr translate a conference talk in real time?+
Yes. Point your phone toward the speaker for microphone capture, or capture a streamed session’s tab audio; Whisperr shows live translated captions in 100+ languages with about 0.2 seconds of latency.
Do attendees need an app or a headset receiver?+
No. Attendees open the room link in any mobile or desktop browser and choose their language. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and no receiver hardware to rent or hand out. They can listen through their own headphones or read the captions on screen.
How many attendees can join one session?+
A broadcast room scales to tens of thousands of simultaneous viewers, each reading or listening in their chosen language.
How many languages can run at the same time?+
Over 100. Every attendee picks their own language from the same broadcast, so adding a language costs nothing extra and needs no additional interpreter.
Does it work for hybrid or virtual sessions?+
Yes. For a streamed session, capture the session tab audio with the Whisperr Chrome Extension or Web App instead of the room feed, then share the same room link with remote attendees.
Can I use it for networking, not just sessions?+
Yes. Switch to two-way mode to hold real conversations with attendees in other languages, on screen or with spoken output.
How much does live event translation cost?+
You can start for free. Unlimited real-time use is available on a low flat annual plan, with no per-minute metering and no per-language caps, so the cost does not grow with your audience or your language count.
How does this compare with hiring interpreters?+
Human interpreters are still the gold standard for high-stakes simultaneous interpretation. Whisperr covers the much larger set of sessions where booking a booth per language pair is not practical, and it scales to every language in the room at once.
