How to translate a FaceTime call
Two setups, one for Mac and one for iPhone.

Mac: system audio (best setup)
Take the FaceTime call on your Mac and choose System audio as the source in the Whisperr desktop app. Whisperr reads the computer’s audio output directly, so no speaker is needed and headphones still work.

iPhone: speakerphone
Put the call on speaker and run Whisperr in two-way mode on the same iPhone, with Echo Cancellation off in Settings so it hears the other person through the speaker.

Share your translated side
Turn on Broadcast Mode and text the room link through Messages, mid-call or before it starts. They read or hear your words translated, nothing to install on their side.

Translation appears in about 0.2 seconds, so you can reply while the call is still going.
Send them a link
Turn on Broadcast Mode and message the room link mid-call. They read your words in their own language, or tap Speech mode to hear them.
Nothing changes for the other person
No bot joins, no extra line. Unless you send a Broadcast link, the call sounds the same to them.
