Korean puts the verb last and encodes respect in its speech levels, so the same sentence changes shape with the listener. Whisperr’s speech recognition covers the Korean spoken across South Korea.
Vietnamese distinguishes six tones and attaches classifiers to most nouns. Recognition likewise covers the Vietnamese of Vietnam.
The transcript shows each side in its own writing system: Hangul for Korean, the Latin alphabet with tone diacritics for Vietnamese. Vietnamese is a tonal language, where pitch changes a word’s meaning, so translation works on whole phrases rather than isolated words. Because Whisperr auto-detects which of the two languages is being spoken, Korean to Vietnamese conversations flow in both directions without switching anything by hand.
