The transcript shows each side in its own writing system: the Thai script, written without spaces between words for Thai, the Latin alphabet with tone diacritics for Vietnamese. Thai and Vietnamese are tonal languages, where pitch changes a word’s meaning, so translation works on whole phrases rather than isolated words.
