Whisperr for Android
Live Voice Translation on Your Android Phone
Translate a face-to-face conversation, or keep live translated subtitles over YouTube, TikTok and other video apps. Whisperr for Android listens, transcribes and translates as people speak.
What you can use it for
What you can translate on an Android phone
From a conversation across a table to a video in another app — here’s what Whisperr handles on Android, and how.
In-person conversations
Two people, two languages, one phone. Two-way conversation listens for both languages and translates each side into the other — at a shop counter, a clinic or a meeting table.
Travel translatorLectures, classes and talks
Point the phone at the speaker and read along in your language through the In-App Microphone — in a lecture hall, a conference session or on a guided tour.
Classroom lecturesSpeaking to a group
Presenting, teaching or leading a tour? Turn on Share Link while recording, and your audience follows the translation on their own phones, in the language they pick — no app needed.
Broadcast ModeVideos and live streams
Floating subtitles translate YouTube, TikTok and Instagram — live streams included — on top of the video, so you keep watching in one app.
TikTok LiveOnline meetings
Zoom, Teams and Meet block other apps from capturing call audio on a phone. Play the meeting on another device’s speakers and translate it with Whisperr’s microphone nearby, or join from a computer and use the web app. The Meeting Bot is coming to Android.
Translate Zoom meetingsPhone calls
Android doesn’t let apps hear a call on the phone that’s making it. Put the call on speaker and run Whisperr in two-way conversation on a second device — a tablet, a laptop or another phone — to read both sides of the call translated.
How to translate on Android
Install from Google Play, pick two languages, and choose what Whisperr should listen to.

What users say
Whisperr review
“I love how easy Whisperr is to use and how it accurately understands and translates text and speech across different languages. It's so effective that even in scenarios where other tools might fail, Whisperr performs perfectly. Additionally, the ability to select languages for translation directly on a phone is fantastic. This feature helps us translate church services, ensuring everyone understands without missing anything important. The initial setup was straightforward, making it smooth to start using immediately.”
Fast Translations and a Clear, Easy-to-Read Layout
“It translated really fast, and the way the text appears on the screen—with its clear layout—is very easy to read.”
Whisperr Delivers Lightning-Fast, Highly Accurate Real-Time Translation
“The translation is extremely fast and accurate; after comparing several programs, I consider Whisperr to be the fastest and most accurate real-time translation app.”
Top-Notch Speech Recognition and Flashcard-Style Translations for Fast Study
“Whisperr's speech recognition and translation quality are both top-notch, and better than similar tools I've tried so far. Beyond that, as a Japanese learner, I especially like how Whisperr displays each sentence and its translation almost like flashcards, with a text-to-speech button for each one. That setup makes studying feel fast and efficient, and it's easy to review sentence by sentence.”
Simple Real-Time Translation for Work
“I like best about Whisperr is that it feels simple and straightforward to use.”
Awesome
“This is very useful, extremely user-friendly, easy to use, and the recognition capability is very precise, with very fast speed. It should be the most accurate and fastest translation I've used so far.”
Easy to use
“Whisperr is easy to get started and no hassle at all. A great tool to learn languages and for travelling.”
Exceptional outcomes
“I attempted English to Hindi translation and achieved highly accurate results.”
Amazing
“Using it for Spanish to English and it’s amazing!”
Worth hundreds of thousands of yen
“The same performance as other conversation translation apps. Those charge by the minute, but this one is apparently a one-time purchase, so the value for money is outstanding. Compared with about five similar apps, this one is the best on both performance and price. I wonder whether it was made by a Japanese developer??”

Everything Whisperr does on Android
The same live translation engine as every Whisperr app, plus an overlay only a phone can offer.
Floating subtitles over other apps
Translated subtitles float above the video or social app you’re watching — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram — so you never switch back and forth. Call apps such as Zoom, Teams and Meet don’t allow it.
Two-way conversation
Two people, two languages, one phone. Whisperr listens for both and translates each side into the other — a fresh install starts in two-way.
Speech Mode
Hear each translation read aloud. Choose an Auto, Male or Female voice and a speaking speed from 0.5× to 2×.
Broadcast to a room
Turn on Share Link while recording and anyone with the link follows your live translation in their browser, in the language they choose.
Echo cancellation on by default
When translations play through the loudspeaker, Whisperr keeps its own voice out of the mic so the same sentence isn’t translated twice.
One subscription, every device
Sign in with the same Whisperr account on iPhone, Mac, Windows or the web app and your plan comes with you.

Translating Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls on Android
Meeting apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet don’t let other apps capture their audio, so floating subtitles can’t translate a call running in one of those apps on your phone.
Two things work instead: play the meeting on another device’s speakers and translate it with Whisperr’s microphone nearby, or join the call from a computer and let the Whisperr web app capture the browser tab. The Meeting Bot, which joins the call for you, is coming to Android — it already runs on iPhone, Mac, Windows and the web.
